March 3, 2009 Town Board Meeting

The central issue of the meeting was the debate over whether to add a third judge to Guilderland Town Court. Proponents on the Board said the court was overcrowded and cited the recommendation of State Supreme Court Justice Ceresia. Opposition centered on the cost of the judge, especially during tough economic times. A 3-2 vote tabled the issue for further study. Councilmen Pastore, Grimm and Redlich voted yes, Supervisor Runion and Councilwoman Slavick voted no.
