Malls: Crossgates Mall, Colonie Center, and Stuyvesant Plaza are all in town or close.

Restaurants: Popular restaurants include Chef's Takeout, Mike's Diner, Miyako's Japanese, and many others.

Workplaces: Downtown Albany, U Albany, Downtown Schenectady and a lot of jobs in Colonie.

Parks: Tawasentha Park is the main town park. The Crossings in Colonie and John Boyd Thacher State Park are not too far.

Travel: Albany International Airport and the Rensselaer Train Station are short trips. Exits 24 and 25 on the NYS Thruway cover Guilderland.
